Senior Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) Automation Engineer

Role Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) Automation Engineer with deep hands-on experience designing, developing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and scaling enterprise automation solutions using Copado Robotic Testing.

The candidate must have practical experience building CRT automation from the ground up rather than simply executing existing test cases.

This role requires strong knowledge of CRT test architecture, reusable automation components, test-data management, dynamic UI automation, API testing, Salesforce/Workday automation, CI/CD integration, quality gates, parallel execution, test reporting, and automation failure analysis.

The engineer will own CRT automation across multiple environments and releases and will be responsible for ensuring that automated testing provides reliable release-quality signals.

Mandatory Copado Robotic Testing Expertise:

- Design, development, and maintenance of automated tests using Copado Robotic Testing.

- Building enterprise-scale automation frameworks using CRT.

- Creating reusable and modular CRT automation components.

- Designing maintainable test suites for large Salesforce and Workday implementations.

- Creating data-driven and parameterized automated tests.

- Managing variables, test data, environment-specific values, and reusable test components.

- Designing CRT automation that can execute consistently across DEV, QA, UAT, staging, and production-like environments.

- Creating smoke, sanity, regression, integration, and end-to-end automation suites.

- Organizing CRT tests based on application modules, business processes, risk, and release scope.

- Building reusable automation instead of duplicating test steps across test cases.

- Implementing setup, execution, validation, and cleanup strategies within automated scenarios.

- Managing dependencies between automated business processes.

CRT Test Design & Framework Architecture:

The candidate must be capable of designing CRT automation architecture from scratch. Expected knowledge includes:

- Modular test architecture.

- Reusable business-process components.

- Parameterized test execution.

- Data-driven automation.

- Environment-independent test design.

- Test-data abstraction.

- Dynamic test-data generation.

- Automated test-data cleanup.

- Reusable validation components.

- Common authentication/login components.

The candidate should be able to explain how they would structure 1,000+ CRT automated tests while maintaining reliability, execution speed, traceability, and maintainability.
