Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced ClickHouse Administrator to manage the full lifecycle of our on-prem ClickHouse clusters - from architecture and deployment to security, monitoring, and disaster recovery. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement high-availability, scalable on-prem ClickHouse deployments

- Install, configure, and upgrade ClickHouse servers and client tools

- Define and enforce security policies (TLS, authentication, RBAC, auditing)

- Monitor cluster health, plan capacity, and optimize performance

- Develop backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies

- Collaborate with networking, storage, and security teams to meet compliance requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent

- 5+ years of database administration experience (including 1+ year in ClickHouse)

- Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu)

- Proficiency in Bash and/or Python scripting

- Knowledge of networking, storage (SAN/NAS), and virtualization

- Familiarity with security frameworks (LDAP, Kerberos, TLS)

- Experience with Kubernetes/Docker

Bonus

- ClickHouse Certified Developer certification

Nice-to-Have

- Experience with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana)

- Hands-on with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
