ClearTrail Technologies - System Administrator - Active Directory

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's core infrastructure components, with a primary focus on Active Directory, backup solutions, and vulnerability management.

The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, and performance of systems, while actively identifying and mitigating risks.

Role : System Administrator.

Experience 4 to 6 years.

Location Indore, MP Work from office.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Administer and maintain Active Directory infrastructure, including user/group management, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, OU structure, and AD replication.

- Monitor AD health and resolve replication or authentication issues.

Compliance & Governance :

- Ensure adherence to industry standards and compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, CIS).

- Maintain documentation for security policies, procedures, and controls.

Backup & Recovery :

- Configure and maintain backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault).

- Ensure regular and successful backups of critical systems, applications, and data.

- Conduct periodic restore tests and ensure disaster recovery readiness.

- Monitor backup jobs and remediate failures or anomalies.

- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to optimize backup strategies.

Vulnerability Management :

- Perform regular vulnerability scans using tools like Qualys or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

- Analyze scan results and coordinate with relevant teams to patch and remediate issues.

- Track vulnerabilities to closure and document remediation plans.

- Assist in hardening systems based on CIS benchmarks or organization-defined baselines.

- Incident Response & Monitoring Investigate security incidents and coordinate response efforts.

- Monitor logs and alerts from SIEM and endpoint protection tools.

- Recommend improvements to reduce future risk.
