Clarivate - Senior Data Engineer - ETL/Python

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team at Clarivate.

This role requires strong Python expertise in building and managing data pipelines and optimizing data workflows.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise and a proven track record of delivering scalable data solutions.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience in software development.

- Minimun 5 years of experience in Python programming with a focus on data development and manipulation.

- Experience working with Elastic Search, including writing complex queries and optimizing search performance.

- Experience managing and optimizing data storage and retrieval with a strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases like Postgres and MongoDB.

It would be great if you also had :

- Experience with development on the cloud (AWS or similar)

- Understanding of Unix or Linux operating system, shell scripting and its basic commands

- Experience working with Agile development environments

- Proven experience leading projects and driving them to completion.

What will you be doing in this role ?

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.

- Develop and manage data models and data storage solutions.

- Optimize data workflows and processes for performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Implement and maintain infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code using Python and Django.

- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all projects.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and workflows.
