Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead our R&D content tech team, oversee software development projects, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality technical solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical leadership with hands-on experience in modern software engineering practices, including AI-assisted development, across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.

- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, Microservices, and related Java ecosystem technologies.

- 2 - 5+ years of experience leading engineering or technical teams.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation.

- Experience with AI-assisted software development tools and modern developer workflows.

Nice to have:

- Java 17+, Microservices architecture, JPA, Redis.

- Testing frameworks: JUnit, Mockito.

- AWS basics (S3, SQS, EC2, ECS, OpenSearch).

- Node JS.

What will you be doing?:

- Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams.

- Plan, execute, and oversee software development projects from ideation through production.

- Partner with Product Managers, Architects, UX Designers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.

- Drive adoption of AI-powered engineering practices throughout the SDLC, including AI-assisted code generation, automated testing, documentation, and performance optimization.

- Ensure software architecture, code quality, scalability, maintainability, and security meet organizational standards.

- Lead architectural reviews, technical design discussions, and technology evaluations.

- Manage technical risks, dependencies, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.

- Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and engineering excellence.
