As a GovTech champion, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex Salesforce solutions from initial requirement capture and architectural design to high-quality construction and deployment. This role demands a self-driven engineer who can operate at both abstract and detailed levels, revamping legacy applications and integrating the Salesforce ecosystem with corporate websites, custom solutions, and third-party platforms like Eloqua and LinkedIn. You will act as a technical leader within a multicultural team, leveraging Azure DevOps for lifecycle management and ensuring that Civicas technology remains at the forefront of the global public sector.

Responsibilities :

- Modernization of Legacy Systems: Architect and execute strategies to revamp legacy applications, migrating them to modern Salesforce frameworks like Lightning Web Components (LWC).

- Custom Programmatic Development: Develop high-performance, scalable code using Apex (Triggers, Controllers, Batch, Queueable), Visualforce, and advanced JavaScript.

- Complex Integrations: Design and implement robust integration patterns using REST/SOAP APIs to connect Salesforce with corporate websites, custom internal solutions, and marketing tools like Eloqua.

- Identity & Access Management: Configure and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies, including SAML, OAuth, Active Directory, and ADFS, to ensure secure cross-platform access.

- Environment & Release Management: Oversee environment health, including sandbox refresh cycles, and manage the CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps.

- Data Architecture & Migration: Design complex data models and schemas, managing large-scale data migration processes to and from the Salesforce platform while maintaining data integrity.

- Third-Party Ecosystem Management: Integrate and optimize various AppExchange offerings and social platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) to enhance business functionality.

- Technical Collaboration: Actively engage in stakeholder meetings and collaborate with external vendors to ensure project alignment with global business objectives.

- Innovation Advocacy: Stay at the forefront of Salesforce releases, evaluating and implementing new features (e.g., AI/Data Cloud) to improve citizen outcomes.

Technical Requirements :

- Core Experience: 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in Salesforce development and architecture.

- Programmatic Mastery: Proficiency in LWC, Apex, JavaScript, and Visualforce for building custom user interfaces and backend logic.

- Integration Expertise: Proven ability to build and consume REST/SOAP services and manage complex API-led connectivity.

- Data Modeling: Expert understanding of Salesforce objects, relationships, and schema design for high-volume data environments.

- Multi-Module Exposure: Experience extending Salesforce beyond Sales Cloud into Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or specialized GovTech modules.

Preferred Skills :

- AppExchange Proficiency: Experience implementing and customizing high-impact AppExchange solutions.

- Legacy Transformation: Proven track record of successfully migrating Visualforce/Classic components to Lightning Web Components.

- Marketing Integration: Familiarity with integrating Salesforce with Eloqua or similar marketing automation platforms.

- Agile Leadership: Strong ability to lead technical discussions in an Agile/Scrum environment.

- Public Sector Awareness: Passion for developing technology that directly impacts public services and community welfare.

- Certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (PDII) or Salesforce Certified Integration Architect is highly preferred.
