The Role :
Senior Software Engineer
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of professional experience and a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software.
This role is crucial for our team's success, as you will not only be a key contributor to our codebase but also a technical leader and a mentor to junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of new features and services across our platform.
- Write clean, well-documented, and highly scalable code that adheres to best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define and execute project requirements.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, helping them grow their technical skills and careers.
- Contribute to architectural and technical decisions, helping to shape the future of our product.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues and bugs in production and development environments.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our tech stack remains modern and efficient.
Required Qualifications :
- 4-7 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, Ruby).
- Demonstrated experience with a relevant framework or library (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot, Django, Flask).
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex tasks.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Previous experience in a technical leadership or mentoring role
