Description:
We are looking for a hands?on EDI Subject Matter Expert (Techno?Functional) who can work closely with internal teams, client SMEs, and external trading partners. The ideal candidate will actively participate in EDI testing, troubleshooting, mapping, integration improvements, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

EDI Integration & Troubleshooting:
- Work with internal teams, client SMEs, and trading partners to test and resolve EDI transaction issues.

- Troubleshoot complex EDI mappings, AS2, SFTP connectivity, and partner setup issues.

- Analyze EDI document flows to identify inefficiencies and performance bottlenecks.

EDI Mapping & Standards:
- Validate and support mappings for ANSI X12 & EDIFACT.

- Hands-on experience with transaction sets including:
- 850, 855, 810, 856, 832, 824, 823, 852, 214, 820, 845, 867, 861.

Testing & Validation:
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for EDI workflows.

- Support testing on IBM Sterling Integrator, identifying mapping and flow issues.

- Document defects, root causes, and areas for improvement.

Automation & Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and automate repetitive EDI workflows and onboarding tasks.

- Improve trading partner onboarding via standardization.

- Create dashboards, metrics, and monitoring indicators for better observability.

Documentation & Collaboration:
- Maintain clear documentation for flows, mappings, test cases, and SOPs.

- Act as a bridge between technical teams and functional business stakeholders.

Required Skills:

Technical:
- Mandatory: Strong hands?on IBM Sterling Integrator experience

- EDI standards & mapping (X12, EDIFACT)

- AS2 / SFTP setup, configuration, and troubleshooting

- Strong EDI validation, testing, and issue?resolution skills

- Ability to automate operational workflows

Functional:
- Good understanding of business flows:
- Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory, Logistics, Finance

- Ability to identify performance issues and scalability improvements

- Strong analytical & root-cause analysis abilities

Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication across technical & non?technical teams

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

- Comfortable in client-facing interactions

Nice to Have:
- Experience with TrustedLink

- Exposure to monitoring/observability tools

- Prior consulting or client-facing project experience
