Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer (SQL) to design, build, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise, experience with Python, and exposure to cloud platforms.

You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain data pipelines using SQL and Python.

- Design and optimize database structures (tables, indexes, partitions).

- Write complex SQL queries including window functions, CTEs, and joins.

- Implement ETL workflows using tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or equivalent.

- Perform data transformation, validation, and quality checks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

- Work with big data technologies (PySpark, Databricks, Hadoop, or Snowflake).

- Deploy and manage solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in SQL (query optimization, indexing, table design).

- Hands-on experience with Python (data structures, scripting, automation).

- Knowledge of ETL tools (Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica, etc.).

- Experience with data pipelines and data validation techniques.

- Exposure to big data frameworks (PySpark, Hadoop, Databricks).

- Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Good to Have :

- Experience with Snowflake or Redshift.

- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data engineering.

- Understanding of data governance and security practices.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
