Job Title : EDI Architect (15+ Years Experience)

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly experienced EDI Architect with 15+ years of hands-on expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-grade B2B/EDI integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of EDI standards, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, and Azure integration services, along with a strong understanding of modern DevOps and cloud-native practices.

Responsibilities :

- Architect, design, and optimize scalable EDI/B2B integration solutions for large, enterprise-level ecosystems.

- Lead development and migration initiatives involving X12, EDIFACT, and HIPAA transactions (837, 835, 270/271).

- Design and configure communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, HTTPS, and FTP.

- Build and manage solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SBI), ITXA, and related components.

- Develop and deploy cloud-native integration patterns using Azure ServicesLogic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Functions, Blob Storage, and AKS.

- Containerize and orchestrate workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Helm charts.

- Lead EDI testing, validation, onboarding, and performance tuning across partner ecosystems.

- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and trading partners to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence.

- Create architecture diagrams, reusable frameworks, mapping specifications, and documentation.

Required Experience & Expertise :

- 15+ years of strong hands-on experience in EDI/B2B architecture and implementation.

- Deep knowledge of EDI standardsX12, EDIFACT, HIPAA.

- Expertise in trading partner onboarding, map development, and EDI validation frameworks.

- Strong working knowledge of :

a. IBM Sterling B2B Integrator

b. ITXA (ITX/WTX)

c. AS2, SFTP, HTTPS, FTP protocols

- Proven experience designing cloud-based integrations using :

a. Azure Logic Apps

b. Azure API/Service Bus/Event Grid

c. Azure Functions

d. AKS

- Solid understanding of DevOps automation, including GitHub Actions, Terraform, Helm, and containerized deployments.

- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to define architecture strategies and lead technical teams.

Nice-to-Have :

- Experience with API-first integration design.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture.

- Exposure to Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, or similar platforms.
