Citirx Developer - Patch Management

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Citrix Developer with strong expertise in Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop environments, Windows platforms, and enterprise virtualization technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and securing Citrix infrastructure while ensuring high availability, performance, and end-user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and support Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop environments.

- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Windows 10/11 operating systems within Citrix platforms.

- Update and manage Citrix Golden Images, ensuring standardization, security, and performance optimization.

- Monitor, analyze, and remediate Citrix platform vulnerabilities in line with security best practices.

- Configure and manage Citrix policies and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).

- Manage and optimize user profiles, ensuring consistent and high-performing user experiences.

- Perform in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis for recurring and complex Citrix issues.

- Analyze frequently occurring incidents and implement preventive and permanent fixes.

- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure platform stability and compliance.

- Support platform upgrades, patches, and change management activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of Windows Server environments and Windows 10/11 operating systems.

- Hands-on experience with Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop, including core Citrix components.

- Good knowledge of Citrix platform security, vulnerabilities, and remediation best practices.

- Experience in managing and updating Citrix Golden Images.

- Solid understanding of user profile management (roaming profiles, profile optimization).

- Strong knowledge of Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and Citrix policies.

- Working knowledge of hypervisors such as VMware ESX/ESXi or equivalent.

- Strong data analysis, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
