- Network Engineer Cisco - The Cisco Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructures using Cisco technologies.

- Responsibilities include configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers; implementing VLANs, ACLs, QoS, and routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP).

- The engineer will ensure network resilience through redundancy, load balancing, and failover solutions (HSRP/VRRP).

- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center), troubleshooting using packet captures, and firmware management is required.

- Experience with VPNs (site-to-site, SSL), Cisco ASA/Firepower firewalls, SD-WAN, and integration with cloud connectivity (ExpressRoute, Direct Connect) is preferred.

- Knowledge of network segmentation, NAC, and Zero Trust principles is a plus.

- Implement and optimize VLANs, ACLs, QoS policies, and network segmentation.

Routing & Switching :

- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.

- Ensure efficient network performance through proper routing design and optimization.

High Availability & Performance :

- Implement network redundancy and failover mechanisms, including HSRP and VRRP.

- Configure load balancing solutions to ensure maximum uptime and resilience.

Network Security :

- Configure and manage Cisco ASA and Firepower firewalls.

- Implement and support VPN solutions (site-to-site, IPsec, SSL).

- Support Zero Trust and NAC-based access control policies.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting :

- Use tools such as SolarWinds and Cisco DNA Center for network monitoring and performance analysis.

- Perform in-depth troubleshooting using packet captures and protocol analyzers (Wireshark, etc.).

- Conduct firmware upgrades, device patching, and lifecycle management.

Cloud & SD-WAN Connectivity :

- Support and integrate cloud connectivity solutions including Azure ExpressRoute and AWS Direct Connect.

- Configure and maintain Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) environments.

Documentation & Compliance :

- Maintain detailed technical documentation, network diagrams, and configuration archives.

- Ensure compliance with security standards, operational best practices, and organizational policies.

Collaboration & Support :

- Work with cross-functional teams to support business and IT network requirements.

- Provide L2/L3 support for escalated network incidents and participate in on-call rotation if required.

- Assist in network capacity planning and future technology upgrades.
