We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Modeler/Data Engineer with expertise in Erwin to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data modeling principles, data warehousing concepts, and experience in designing and implementing data solutions. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining data models, designing ETL processes, and ensuring data quality and integrity.
Responsibilities :
- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models using Erwin Data Modeler.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and data architects to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories.
- Design and implement ETL processes to load data into data warehouses and data marts.
- Optimize data models and ETL processes for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation and cleansing techniques.
- Participate in data governance activities and enforce data standards.
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data modeling and data engineering technologies.
- Work closely with developers, testers, and other team members to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Document data models, ETL processes, and other data-related artifacts.
- Contribute to the development of data architecture standards and best practices.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience :
- 3-8 years of experience in data modeling and data engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Erwin Data Modeler.
- Solid understanding of data modeling principles (e.g., relational, dimensional).
- Experience with data warehousing concepts (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema).
- Experience with ETL tools and technologies (e.g., Informatica, DataStage, SSIS).
- Proficiency in SQL and database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
