CIMET - Senior Scrum Master

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Scrum Master to join our Jaipur-based team and drive the successful delivery of technology projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile principles, deep hands-on experience with JIRA project management, and a proven ability to manage capacity planning, project costing, and Agile/Scrum health check reporting.

As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, enabling teams to effectively apply Scrum principles, and ensuring smooth and transparent project execution.

Key Responsibilities :

- Facilitate Scrum Events: Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure alignment with sprint and release goals.

- Drive Agile Governance: Maintain and report on Agile/Scrum health check metrics-team velocity, sprint predictability, backlog health, and delivery trends-to leadership.

- JIRA Project Management: Configure and manage JIRA projects, workflows, dashboards, and reports for sprint tracking, issue management, and stakeholder visibility.

- Capacity Planning & Project Costing: Coordinate with delivery and finance teams to forecast sprint capacity, estimate effort, and manage project costing and resource utilization.

- Remove Obstacles: Identify and proactively eliminate impediments or blockers affecting delivery timelines.

- Coach and Mentor: Guide teams and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum practices, promoting self-organization and accountability.

- Foster Communication: Ensure transparent communication within teams and across departments, enabling informed decision-making and continuous feedback loops.

- Support Product Owners: Collaborate closely with Product Owners to refine backlogs, clarify requirements, and set sprint priorities.

- Continuous Improvement: Facilitate retrospectives to identify improvement opportunities and implement actionable changes.

- Ensure Alignment: Coordinate across multiple teams and business units to maintain delivery consistency and process alignment.

Qualifications :

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or PMI-ACP preferred.

Experience :

- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.

- Proven experience with JIRA project management, including workflow setup, reporting, and dashboard creation.

- Hands-on experience with capacity planning, project costing, and Agile health reporting.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams (development, QA, product, DevOps) in IT or software delivery organizations.
