Quality Analyst (Automation Tester)

Location : Indore, M.P. (Work From Office)

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective and efficient test strategies.

- Apply both Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Data-Driven Testing (DDT) methodologies to enhance test clarity, reusability, and scalability.

- Ensure high-quality releases by conducting thorough functional, integration, UI/UX, and regression testing across large-scale applications.

- Build and manage test coverage for REST APIs, integrating tools like Postman and REST Assured. Utilize CSS/XPath locators and page object models to enhance test reliability.

- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing, ensuring consistent behavior and responsiveness across various environments.

- Perform test data management using mock data generators or scripting to support isolated and repeatable test cases.

- Track and report issues using tools such as Jira, ensuring complete documentation and timely resolution of bugs and enhancement requests.

- Author and maintain test cases with traceability to business requirements to ensure complete test coverage and accountability.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of experience in automation testing.

- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Postman, and REST Assured.

- Strong understanding of BDD (e.g., Cucumber) and DDT testing practices.

- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript or Java for test scripting.

- Solid experience in working with cross-functional Agile teams.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong knowledge of test planning, test case design, and defect lifecycle management.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests in build cycles is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications in Software Testing or Automation Tools (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium).

- Exposure to performance or load testing tools is a plus.
