Role : Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for SaaS product-based company (B2B)

Job Location : Chennai

Key areas : Lead the technology vision and execution for a SaaS-based platform organization focused on Route-to-Market (RTM), Sales Force Automation (SFA), and Distributor Management Systems (DMS).

Key Responsibilities :

- Requires deep expertise in distribution-led business ecosystems, including secondary sales visibility, retail execution, and large-scale distributor networks.

- Drive cloud-native transformation, mobile-first platform engineering, and high-volume transactional systems that power enterprise clients across FMCG, consumer goods, and pharma sectors.

- Define and drive the overall technology vision, roadmap, and architecture aligned with business growth and product strategy

- Lead the design and scaling of multi-tenant SaaS platforms supporting distributor networks, field sales teams, and retail ecosystems

- Own and execute cloud transformation initiatives, including legacy modernization to microservices, containerization, and API-first architectures

- Oversee end-to-end product engineering for SFA, DMS, and RTM platforms

- Build and lead high-performing teams across engineering, QA, DevOps, SRE, data engineering, and architecture

Mandatory Experience :

- 15+ years of experience in technology leadership, with at least 5+ years in a CTO / VP Engineering role

- Proven experience in SaaS product companies (mandatory)

- Strong experience in RTM, SFA, DMS, supply chain, or FMCG/CPG distribution platforms

- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, Kubernetes, containerization, and API-first architecture

- Proven experience in mobile-first and offline-first application development

- Experience managing high-volume, transaction-heavy systems

- Strong exposure to enterprise integrations (ERP, third-party ecosystems)
