About KwikMedi:

KwikMedi is a hyperlocal healthcare marketplace connecting customers with licensed pharmacies and diagnostic labs for 30-minute medicine delivery and doorstep diagnostic services. We are building a technology-driven platform to make healthcare more accessible, affordable, and convenient across India.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and entrepreneurial CTO to lead KwikMedi's technology vision, product development, and engineering team. The ideal candidate should be excited about building a healthcare startup from the ground up and willing to take ownership as a founding team member.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and execute the technology roadmap.

- Lead development of Customer App, Pharmacy App, Admin Panel, and backend systems.

- Build and manage the engineering team.

- Ensure platform scalability, security, reliability, and performance.

- Design integrations with payment gateways, logistics partners, pharmacy systems, and healthcare APIs.

- Drive product innovation using AI, automation, and data analytics.

- Work closely with the founders on product strategy and business growth.

- Establish engineering processes, code quality standards, and technical documentation.

Requirements:

- 7+ years of software development experience.

- Experience building scalable web and mobile applications.

- Strong expertise in React Native, Node.js/Django, PostgreSQL/MySQL, AWS, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.

- Experience leading engineering teams and shipping products.

- Startup mindset with a willingness to build in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred:

- Experience in healthcare, health-tech, marketplace, logistics, or quick-commerce platforms.

- Knowledge of AI, automation, and analytics systems.

- Previous startup or founding experience.

Equity & Commitment:

- 2% equity, subject to a 4-year vesting schedule with a 1-year cliff.

- No fixed salary during the initial phase.

- Compensation to be introduced/revised after successful fundraising and business traction milestones.
