Job Purpose:
The Chief Technology Officer should be a high-level executive responsible for managing the daily operations of the company. This person must have a deep understanding of technology, process improvement, and a strong sense of leadership. Additionally, they should be capable of redesigning processes to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define, implement and review IT operational policies.
- Develop and execute new growth and process improvement directives.
- Collaborate with other departments to create processes and policies from IT for optimal project delivery.
- Communicate with department heads to develop projects and ensure compliance across the company.
- Oversee customer projects, follow up and ensure compliance and completion of each project.
- Oversee the internal and external customer service provided by the team in charge.
- Coordinate with superiors to make decisions on operational activities and set strategic objectives.
- Plan and supervise the daily operation of your area and team to ensure its smooth running.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, redesign of processes and equipment for the best performance of the area's tasks.
- Periodically evaluate the effectiveness of business procedures in accordance with organizational objectives and implement improvements.
- Manage relationships/agreements with customer partners/suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Focus on process improvement and ensure project compliance.
- Provide strong leadership and follow up to teams.
- Ensure your team has a good knowledge of technology language, up to date with required certifications and customer service.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or any related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in Operations, preferably in managed service provider (MSP) industry.
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Proven skills in translating insights into strategies and action plans.
- Super analytical and resourceful.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good leadership and coaching skills.
- Experience in process improvement.
- Focus on project compliance and task execution review.
- High degree of leadership and team follow-up.
- Knowledge of technological language.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification is an advantage.
- Open to work in EST time zone.
- Open for a hybrid set-up.
