Job Title : Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Location : Gurugram

Reporting to : Co-Founders / CEO

Role Overview :

Key Responsibilities :

Technology Strategy & Vision

- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies (AI/ML, NLP, personalization engines, etc.).

Product Development & Platform Engineering

- Ensure seamless scalability, performance, and reliability of the platform.

- Drive continuous improvement in UI/UX, user engagement, and platform speed.

Team Leadership

- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and agile development.

Security & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, EdTech data norms).

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

- Partner with founders in strategic planning and investor presentations.

Tech Infrastructure

- Oversee platform analytics, integrations, and API architecture.

Required Qualifications :

- 10+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 3 years in a tech leadership role (preferably in a startup or fast-scaling company).

- Proven experience in building B2C or B2B SaaS/EdTech platforms.

- Hands-on experience with modern tech stacks : MERN/MEAN, Python/Django, or equivalent.

- Expertise in cloud architecture, databases (SQL/NoSQL), DevOps, and product security.

- Familiarity with AI/ML/NLP technologies is a strong advantage.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to global markets and scaling across geographies.

- Prior startup or entrepreneurial experience.

- Understanding of analytics platforms (Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Amplitude).
