About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy, innovation initiatives, and engineering organization. The CTO will be responsible for defining the company's technology vision, driving digital transformation, ensuring scalable and secure technology infrastructure, and aligning technology investments with business objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, and business acumen, with a proven track record of building high-performing engineering teams and delivering innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Technology Strategy & Leadership :

- Define and execute the organization's technology vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy.

- Partner with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business goals and growth plans.

- Identify emerging technologies, industry trends, and innovation opportunities that create competitive advantages.

- Drive digital transformation initiatives across the organization.

Engineering & Product Development :

- Lead software engineering, architecture, infrastructure, and technology operations teams.

- Oversee the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable technology platforms.

- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies.

- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality technology products and solutions.

Architecture & Infrastructure :

- Design and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure technology architecture.

- Drive cloud adoption, modernization, and infrastructure optimization initiatives.

- Ensure system performance, availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

- Evaluate and implement new tools, platforms, and frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability.

Security & Compliance :

- Establish enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategies and governance frameworks.

- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, legal, and industry standards.

- Implement risk management practices to safeguard company data, systems, and intellectual property.

- Lead incident response and security awareness initiatives.

Team Leadership & Talent Development :

- Build, mentor, and retain high-performing technology teams.

- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

- Develop succession planning and leadership development programs within the technology function.

- Lead workforce planning and organizational design for technology teams.

Stakeholder Management :

- Collaborate with product, operations, finance, sales, and business leaders to deliver technology-enabled business outcomes.

- Present technology strategies, budgets, and performance updates to executive leadership and board members.

- Manage relationships with technology vendors, partners, and service providers.

Financial & Operational Management :

- Develop and manage technology budgets and investment plans.

- Optimize technology spending while ensuring operational excellence.

- Define and track technology KPIs, operational metrics, and performance benchmarks.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across technology functions.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Master's degree (MBA/MS) preferred.

- 15+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership roles.

- Proven experience leading large-scale engineering, infrastructure, and technology organizations.

- Strong background in software development, cloud platforms, enterprise architecture, and digital transformation.

- Demonstrated experience managing technology budgets and strategic investments.

- Experience working closely with executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.
