Job Description

As CPTO, you will lead the end-to-end product and technology strategy of the company. You will own the vision, roadmap, engineering architecture, and execution of our digital learning platforms, ensuring best-in-class performance, scalability, and impact across a massive B2C user base.


Key Responsibilities :


Product & Growth Strategy :


- Own and define the product vision and roadmap aligned with business and learning outcomes.


- Deliver product-led growth (PLG) by optimizing user journeys from free to paid.


- Build and scale high-impact products like mock test platforms, gamified learning experiences, analytics dashboards, and video delivery systems.


- Drive user engagement, retention, and monetization through continuous experimentation and feedback loops.


Technology Leadership :


- Architect and manage a scalable, secure, and high-performance technology stack across mobile and web.


- Lead adoption of AI/ML for personalization, content recommendation, and learning analytics.


- Implement best practices in DevOps, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), microservices, data security, and automation.


- Ensure platform stability, uptime, and regulatory compliance.


People & Culture :


- Hire, develop, and manage high-performing engineering, product, data, QA, and design teams.


- Instill a culture of ownership, innovation, velocity, and experimentation.


- Set OKRs and lead execution with an agile mindset.


Cross-Functional Collaboration :


- Partner closely with the founders, content, sales, and marketing teams to align product with business goals.


- Collaborate with external tech vendors and key strategic partners.


Key Success Metrics :


- DAU/MAU growth & engagement


- Retention & completion rates


- Funnel conversion to paid


- Time-to-market for product releases


- Platform uptime & system scalability


- Hiring & team productivity metrics


Qualifications & Background :

- Bachelors/Masters degree, preferably in Engineering


- Engineering background preferred (IITs/NITs/NSIT/BITS Pilani)


- MBA is a plus, especially from IIM A/B/C or ISB (not mandatory)


- At least 5 years of experience in Product Management


- Proven experience scaling B2C digital products (app + web ecosystem)


- 10+ years overall experience, with recent experience in a CPO, CTO, or CPTO-level leadership role


- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset


- Experience working in EdTech, consumer internet, or mobile-first tech products is highly desirable
