Chief Manager - IT Network Security

Location : Navi Mumbai

Department : IT - Network & Network Security

Experience : 12-17 years (hands-on security experience mandatory)

Industry Preference : Banking / Financial Services / Regulated environments

Role Overview :

We are looking for a security-first Network Security professional to manage and secure enterprise-scale network infrastructure in a banking / regulated environment.

This role demands strong hands-on expertise in Firewalls, WAF, and Load Balancers, along with solid networking fundamentals.

Note : This is not a pure routing, switching, or NOC management role.

Mandatory Technical Skills (Non-Negotiable) :

- Network Security

- Firewalls (Hands-on - mandatory) : Fortigate / Palo Alto / Checkpoint (any two preferred)

- Policy creation & optimisation, NAT, VPN (Site-to-Site & Remote)

- Troubleshooting security incidents and audit issues

- Web Application Firewall (WAF) : Experience with F5 / Imperva / equivalent

- Policy tuning, false-positive handling, application onboarding

- Load Balancers : Hands-on experience with F5 / Radware / Citrix

- LTM / GSLB, SSL offloading, health monitors, troubleshooting

Networking Fundamentals (Supporting Skills) :

- Routing : BGP, OSPF, MPLS

- Switching : VLANs, STP, DC & Branch connectivity

- Minimum working proficiency expected (not routing-only profiles)

Banking & Operational Experience :

- Experience in banking / financial services / regulated environments

- Exposure to :

1. DC-DR drills

2. RBI / internal / external audits

3. Change & Incident Management (CAB)

4. Vendor coordination and SLA management

Role Responsibilities :

- Act as L3 escalation point for network security incidents

- Hands-on troubleshooting of firewall, WAF, and LB issues

- Support security audits and compliance requirements

- Participate in DC migrations, DR drills, and security projects

- Work closely with SOC, ISG, application, and infrastructure teams

Who Should NOT Apply :

- Pure routing & switching profiles with limited security exposure

- NOC Managers without hands-on firewall / WAF experience

- Candidates with no WAF or Load Balancer experience
