Job Title : Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Location : Bengaluru

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will lead the organizations overall technology and information strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives while driving digital transformation, cybersecurity, and operational excellence. The CIO will be responsible for modernizing IT infrastructure, strengthening governance and security, and enabling innovation across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities :

Technology & Digital Strategy :

- Define and execute the enterprise IT and digital transformation roadmap aligned with business goals.

- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (Cloud, AI/ML, Automation, Data Platforms) to improve efficiency and scalability.

- Partner with business leaders to translate strategic objectives into technology initiatives.

IT Operations & Infrastructure :

- Oversee enterprise IT operations, infrastructure, applications, and end-user services.

- Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of systems and platforms.

- Lead modernization of legacy systems and application portfolios.

Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance :

- Establish and govern enterprise-wide information security and cybersecurity strategy.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (ISO, SOX, GDPR, etc.).

- Oversee risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response.

Governance & Vendor Management :

- Implement strong IT governance, policies, and controls.

- Manage strategic vendor relationships, contracts, and service delivery.

- Oversee IT budgeting, cost optimization, and ROI measurement.

Data & Analytics :

- Drive enterprise data strategy, analytics, and reporting capabilities.

- Enable data-driven decision-making across functions.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management :

- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Board, and executive leadership.

- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to deliver business outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Masters preferred).

- 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with significant time in senior leadership roles.

- Proven experience leading large-scale IT transformations and security programs.

- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL, TOGAF, or PMP are a plus.
