Charter Global - Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual/Automation Testing

Responsibilities :

- Perform System, Functional, UAT, Integration, GUI, and Regression Testing (Manual & Automation using Playwright, Selenium, .NET framework, TestCafe, Cypress, Postman).

- Develop Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts, and Test Data (manual + automation).

- Gain deep product knowledge and contribute to improving product quality.

- Define & track QA metrics (defect density, open defect counts, traceability, defect metrics).

- Collaborate effectively with team members & business users, ensuring smooth coordination.

- Provide insights into defect slippage and latency through traceability matrix.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 35 years of testing experience (Web applications, APIs).

- 3+ years of hands-on C# and Unit Testing frameworks (MSTest, NUnit, XUnit).

- Strong expertise in UI Automation (Selenium).

- Experience testing Web APIs, WCF, Web Services (SOAPUI, Postman).

- Hands-on with SQL Server (queries, debugging datasets).

- Experience with CI/CD tools (TFS, Jenkins) and code management tools (TFS, Git).

- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, standards, best practices.

- Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM processes.

- Exposure to load testing tools (Visual Studio Load Test, JMeter, LoadRunner).

- Added advantage: Protractor, Cucumber, API automation, Angular framework testing.
