Channel Technical Architect - Banking & Payments Domain

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead architecture for digital and customer-facing channels, including web, mobile, APIs, and partner integrations.

- Define secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient channel solutions.

- Design and govern API-led and microservices-based architectures.

- Drive integration with payment platforms, IAM, notification services, and backend systems.

- Define API security, authentication, authorization, and access-control standards.

- Collaborate with engineering, product, security, infrastructure, and business teams.

- Review technical designs and provide architectural guidance to engineering teams.

- Drive performance, observability, resilience, and high-availability requirements.

- Identify architectural risks and recommend appropriate technology solutions.

- Ensure solutions comply with security, performance, scalability, and reliability standards.

Preferred Qualifications :

- 1215 years of experience in Software, Solution, or Technical Architecture.

- Strong experience in digital banking, financial services, payments, or customer-facing platforms.

- Proven expertise across web, mobile, APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration.

- Strong understanding of digital channels and channel-to-backend integration.

- Experience designing APIs and distributed services for high-volume, transaction-intensive environments.

- Strong knowledge of IAM, authentication, authorization, API security, and secure digital-channel design.

- Experience with cloud technologies and modern application architecture patterns.

- Strong understanding of scalability, performance, availability, resilience, and observability.

- Strong technical leadership, architectural decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience in banking, payments, or regulated environments is preferred.
