We are seeking a System Administrator with strong Windows Server experience and Python scripting skills to join our Lab Operations team. This role is essential to the delivery of stable, scalable, and responsive virtual lab environments used in technical training courses across the globe.

As a Lab Support Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to manage and support a broad set of Windows-based lab environments. Youll also work with Linux-based VMs as needed (Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS), troubleshoot live lab issues, and automate repetitive tasks using Python.

This position is ideal for someone with a solid Windows sysadmin background who also enjoys writing automation scripts and supporting lab environments in a fast-moving, education-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities :

System Administration (Windows-Focused) :

- Provision, monitor, and maintain Windows Server-based lab environments (2016, 2019, 2022)

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Active Directory, Group Policy, RDP access, and Windows networking

- Support Windows-based services and applications used in training labs (e.g., domain controllers, firewalls, management consoles)

- Snapshot, clone, and manage virtual machines in VMware ESXi/vCenter environments

- Manage access controls, firewall rules, and networking for multi-tenant training environments

- Assist with Linux VM configuration and troubleshooting where required (Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS)

- Provide operational support for trainers and students using remote labs globally

- Support remote access platforms (Guacamole, VPN, RDP gateways, SSH)

Python Automation (Secondary) :

Develop and maintain Python scripts for :

- Automated lab deployment and teardown

- Scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting tools

- Monitoring and health checks of lab environments

- Integration with APIs (e.g., vCenter, scheduling systems, MongoDB)

- Maintain and document internal tools and scripts that streamline lab operations

- Work with internal dashboards and scheduling systems to enhance functionality and integration

Essential qualifications and experience :

- System Administrator with strong Windows Server experience

- Strong VMWare Virtualization Experience

- Good Python coding & scripting skills advance level
