Chai Waale - Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing

We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Quality Analyst with expertise in both Manual and Automation Testing to join our fast-paced software development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in pytest, fixtures, SQL-based database testing, and be familiar with a wide range of software testing techniques. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining high product quality through rigorous test planning, execution, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.

- Perform functional, regression, compatibility, responsive, and integration testing across web and mobile platforms.

- Create and manage detailed test documentation including Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Use Cases, and Test Reports.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using pytest and related tools.

- Execute and validate complex SQL queries for backend/database testing.

- Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts in an Agile environment to ensure timely and high-quality releases.

- Track and manage bugs using tools such as Bugzilla or similar.

- Ensure all test setups are properly configured and maintained.

- Collaborate using tools like Bitbucket, and contribute to continuous integration pipelines.

- Understand client requirements and translate them into test strategies and plans.

- Support the testing of web and mobile applications across multiple devices and platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven experience in both manual and automation testing.

- Strong command over pytest framework and Python fixtures.

- Solid experience with SQL writing, executing, and validating queries.

- Familiarity with QTP/UFT or Selenium is a plus.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and various testing types.

- Working knowledge of Java is desirable.

- Experience using version control systems like Bitbucket.

- Familiarity with Bugzilla or similar bug tracking tools.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to grasp complex systems and business requirements.
