Chai Waale - Senior IT Head

The Senior IT Head will lead the organizations IT strategy, infrastructure, software development, and security operations. A key focus will be driving innovation and efficiency in delivering scalable web and mobile applications, aligning technology initiatives with business goals, and mentoring a high-performing technical team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with organizational objectives, with a strong focus on web and mobile platforms.

- Lead end-to-end development and delivery of web and mobile applications, ensuring high performance, usability, and scalability.

- Oversee cloud operations, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and IT support services.

- Drive digital transformation initiatives and modernize legacy systems where required.

- Implement Agile and DevOps practices for faster, iterative development and deployment cycles.

- Ensure data security, regulatory compliance, and disaster recovery planning.

- Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency and user experience.

- Manage vendor relationships, technology contracts, and licensing agreements.

- Optimize IT budgets, resourcing plans, and productivity metrics.

- Collaborate with product managers, business teams, and UI/UX designers to align technical delivery with user needs.

- Guide and mentor cross-functional teams including developers, DevOps, QA, and IT support.

Requirements :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 10-15 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

- Strong technical foundation in web and mobile application development, enterprise software architecture, and system integration.

- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, APIs, and containerization

(Docker/Kubernetes).

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and software development life cycle (SDLC).

- Proven leadership in managing distributed tech teams and large-scale digital projects.

- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in product-based IT companies or high-growth tech environments.

- Familiarity with mobile frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter) and modern web stacks (e.g., MEAN/MERN, .NET, Java/Spring).

- Knowledge of ERP/CRM systems, cybersecurity standards, and compliance frameworks.

- Certifications like PMP, ITIL, AWS, Azure, or CISSP are a plus.
