We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with strong exposure to the container shipping and logistics ecosystem to drive the vision, roadmap, and delivery of digital products supporting maritime, container, and logistics operations. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, operations teams, and agile delivery teams to ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and operational requirements across the shipping value chain.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Define and own the product vision and strategy aligned with container shipping, fleet, port, and logistics business objectives.

- Gather, analyze, and translate customer, operational, and regulatory requirements into clear product features and user stories.

- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that supports container operations, cargo movement, documentation, and logistics workflows.

- Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, shipping domain experts, and cross-functional development teams.

- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including ideation, design, development, testing, and release.

- Create, prioritize, and continuously refine the product backlog based on business value, operational urgency, and customer impact.

- Support Scrum teams during sprint planning, execution, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure sprint goals are achieved.

- Continuously review product iterations, incorporating feedback from operations, customers, and stakeholders to drive improvements.

- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities within shipping and logistics processes and systems.

- Provide regular product status updates, release notes, and roadmap communication to stakeholders and customers.

Domain Knowledge (Preferred / Required) :

Strong understanding of container shipping and logistics operations, including :

- Container lifecycle (booking, loading, discharge, gate-in/gate-out)

- Port & terminal operations

- Fleet and voyage operations

- Freight, documentation, and compliance processes

Familiarity with logistics and maritime systems such as :

- Transportation Management Systems (TMS)

- Terminal Operating Systems (TOS)

- Fleet / Voyage Management Systems

- Container tracking and visibility platforms

Skills & Competencies :

- Excellent understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks, with hands-on experience as a Product Owner.

- Strong decision-making capability, with accountability for prioritization and product trade-offs.

- Practical experience with product development architecture and enterprise digital platforms.

- Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools to measure product performance and user outcomes.

- Strong ability to prioritize features and releases based on business value and operational impact.

- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for stakeholder engagement and team collaboration.

- Proven ability to work effectively within large, cross-functional, and geographically distributed teams.

- Knowledge of design quality standards and guidelines.

- Technical background with working knowledge of software development and web technologies.

- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
