Role Overview:

As an MDM Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of master data across complex enterprise systems. You will work closely with data architects, ETL developers, and business stakeholders to validate data quality throughout the lifecycle of Master Data Management implementations. Your work directly impacts the reliability of business intelligence and operational reporting, ensuring that the organization maintains a "single source of truth" to drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for MDM implementations to ensure data accuracy across integrated platforms.

- Perform rigorous data validation and reconciliation between source systems and target MDM repositories to maintain data integrity.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline regression testing for complex ETL pipelines and data integration flows.

- Collaborate with data governance teams to verify that data cleansing and standardization rules are correctly applied during migration processes.

- Conduct deep-dive database testing using complex SQL queries to identify anomalies and performance bottlenecks within the data ecosystem.

- Document testing outcomes, track defects, and partner with development teams to resolve data quality issues in a timely manner.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in Master Data Management (MDM) testing methodologies, with a strong understanding of data governance and stewardship principles.

- Proficiency in utilizing Informatica or similar industry-leading MDM tools to manage and validate master data entities.

- Proven ability to write complex SQL queries for database testing and perform end-to-end data validation across heterogeneous environments.

- Strong experience in designing automation frameworks for data-centric applications, ensuring high coverage and efficiency in testing cycles.

- Solid understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data migration strategies in large-scale enterprise environments.

- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data issues into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment, maintaining high standards of quality while operating in remote or hybrid setups.

- Candidates should possess 4 to 10 years of relevant experience in data quality and MDM testing domains.
