Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer to support a focused integration initiative involving the Guidewire Edge framework and Edge APIs. This role aimed at integrating PolicyCenter with a custom-built portal, requiring deep expertise in PolicyCenter configuration and integration best practices.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and customize solutions within the Guidewire PolicyCenter platform.

- Develop and configure Edge APIs to support seamless communication between the custom portal and PolicyCenter.

- Write, review, and optimize PolicyCenter Gosu code related to integration workflows.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues across environments.

- Work on configuration tasks including data model, PCF screens, validation rules, underwriting issues, and form patterns.

- Build and support integrations using SOAP/REST web services, messaging, and batch processing.

- Write, maintain, and optimize Gosu scripts and Java components.

- Leverage Guidewire Rules Engine, Workflows, and the Guidewire data model to meet business needs.

- Apply Guidewire Edge capabilities to improve platform efficiency and modularity where applicable.

- Contribute to system performance tuning and ensure high application performance and stability.

- Collaborate with QA, BAs, DevOps, and other teams in an Agile development environment.

- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, including GuideLink, print regeneration, and data change APIs.

- Support commercial lines implementations (Auto, Umbrella, BOP, CPP, Workers Compensation).

- Utilize and extend solutions from the Guidewire Marketplace.

Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.

- Strong expertise in Guidewire integration patterns, including SOAP/REST, messaging, and plug-ins.

- Proven experience working with the Guidewire Edge framework and Edge APIs.

- Proficient in Guidewire Configuration (data model, PCF, validations, underwriting logic, form patterns).

- Experience with Guidewire Edge platform and associated components.

- Proficient in Gosu scripting, Java, XML.

- Solid understanding of Web Services (SOAP/REST), messaging, and batch processing.

- Skilled in SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Postgres.

- Familiarity with Rules Engine, Workflow, and application lifecycle management.

- Working knowledge of DevOps tools : Jenkins, Git.

- Agile/Scrum project experience.
