CDW - L3 Collaboration Engineer - Cisco/IP Telephony

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced L3 Collaboration Engineer with expertise in Cisco Unified Communications and IP Telephony (IPT).

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting Cisco collaboration solutions, including CUCM, CUCX, Cisco Unity Connection, and Jabber.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain Cisco Unified Communications solutions including CUCM, CUCX, and Cisco Unity Connection.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex IP Telephony (IPT) and Jabber issues.

- Support, optimize, and manage enterprise voice and video infrastructure.

- Perform upgrades, migrations, and patch management for Cisco collaboration platforms.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate collaboration solutions.

- Provide L3 support for escalated issues, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient resolution.

- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend long-term solutions.

- Maintain documentation and provide technical training to junior engineers.

- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Expertise in Cisco Collaboration technologies: CUCM, CUCX, Cisco Unity Connection, Jabber.

- Strong understanding of VoIP, SIP, H.323, MGCP, RTP, and QoS.

- Hands-on experience with IPT deployments, troubleshooting, and optimization.

- Proficiency in integrating Cisco voice and video solutions.

- Experience in Cisco gateways (ISR, VG) and SBCs.

- Familiarity with networking protocols, firewalls, and security policies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Cisco certifications preferred (CCNP Collaboration, CCIE Collaboration is a plus).
