CBTS - Guidewire BillingCenter Developer

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, configure, and customize solutions within the Guidewire BillingCenter (Cloud version) in accordance with business and technical requirements.

- Implement and maintain BillingCenter functionalities, workflows, and integration points.

- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, architects, business analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Work on integration development using APIs, plugins, and messaging frameworks to connect BillingCenter with other enterprise systems.

- Ensure compliance with Guidewire Cloud best practices and standards throughout the development process.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BillingCenter configuration and integration.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Guidewire Cloud architecture and new features.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user guides, and release notes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong expertise in BillingCenter configuration and development, especially in the Guidewire Cloud version.

- Solid understanding of Guidewire data model, billing workflows, and financial transactions.

- Experience in developing integrations with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, and plugins.

- Proficient in Gosu programming language and Guidewire development environment.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, Jenkins, and deployment practices in a cloud environment.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and delivering in sprint-based development cycles.

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Certifications (Mandatory/Preferred) :

- Guidewire BillingCenter Certification (Mandatory)

- Additional Guidewire certifications are a plus

Good to Have :

- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) as they relate to Guidewire deployments

- Exposure to DevOps practices, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Knowledge of insurance billing domain processes and standards
