CBTS - DelphiX Engineer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Delphix Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Delphix Virtualization and Masking Engines. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of data virtualization, data masking, and database technologies, with a focus on Oracle and SQL Server environments. This role requires proficiency in database administration, performance tuning, backup/recovery strategies, and a strong grasp of data privacy and automation practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Delphix Virtualization :

- Design, implement, and manage Delphix Virtualization solutions for Oracle and SQL Server environments.

- Automate the provisioning of virtual databases (vDBs) and ensure efficient data delivery to

development, testing, and QA teams.

- Monitor and maintain Delphix environments to ensure optimal performance and data consistency.

Delphix Masking :

- Configure and implement data masking policies using Delphix Masking Engine.

- Collaborate with compliance and security teams to define sensitive data and ensure masking aligns

with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

- Perform impact analysis and validate the effectiveness of masking rules.

Database Development and Administration :

- Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL and T-SQL scripts for data transformation, migration, and

reporting.

- Manage Oracle (PL/SQL, RMAN, Data Pump) and SQL Server (T-SQL, SSMS) environments.

- Perform regular database health checks, tuning, and backup/recovery operations.

Automation and DevOps :

- Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, or PowerShell to streamline database and Delphix

operations.

- Integrate Delphix with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools to accelerate release cycles.

- Contribute to infrastructure as code (IaC) efforts to automate environment setup and teardown.

Compliance and Governance :

- Ensure all database and Delphix operations adhere to organizational security standards and compliance policies.

- Maintain accurate documentation of processes, configurations, and architecture diagrams.

Required Skills & Experience :

Mandatory :

- Proven hands-on experience with Delphix Virtualization and Masking Engines in enterprise environments.

Databases :

- Strong experience with Oracle (PL/SQL, RMAN, Data Pump) and SQL Server (T-SQL, SSMS).

- Experience with database administration, including tuning, troubleshooting, and backup/recovery.

Automation & DevOps :

- Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Git, Azure DevOps) and scripting languages (Shell, Python, PowerShell).

- Experience integrating Delphix into automated deployment and provisioning pipelines.

Data Privacy & Masking :

- Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.) and data masking best practices.

- Ability to identify and classify sensitive data and apply appropriate masking techniques.
