Role Description

This is a full-time in-office role for a Founding Frontend Engineer at Cautio. We're seeking a passionate frontend engineer to join our fast-paced startup. You'll play a key role in creating intuitive, performant, and visually appealing dashboards for our SaaS product.

As a Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with frontend development. This includes designing and implementing user interfaces, collaborating with the design team to ensure a seamless user experience, and optimizing website performance.

This role is located in Bengaluru.

Responsibilities :

- Develop complex user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks like Next.js, SvelteKit, Nuxt.js, or Remix.

- Translate design mockups into functional, responsive web applications.

- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with APIs and data sources.

- Optimize frontend code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

- Implement real-time data visualizations and interactive elements.

- Adopt test-driven development (TDD) practices and write unit tests.

Ideal Candidate :

- 3 years of experience building web applications in a product-based company.

- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Strong experience with at least one modern frontend framework (Next.js, SvelteKit, Nuxt.js, Remix, etc.).

- Understanding of web accessibility principles and cross-browser compatibility.

- A knack for building user-centric, intuitive interfaces.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, but not required.

Bonus :

- Experience with TypeScript.

- Experience building cross-platform mobile apps with React Native or Flutter.

- Credible open-source contributions.
