Role Overview
:

We are seeking a highly skilled React Native App Developer to join our dynamic team in Chennai and work on CashKaro & EarnKaro Apps. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building robust, scalable, and user-friendly Apps using React Native.

Key Responsibilities
:

Develop and Maintain Mobile Applications
:

- Build, deploy, and maintain high-performance React Native applications on both iOS and Android platforms. Should have a strong understanding of React Natives new architecture and experience migrating from class components to function components. Must be currently working on well-established, large-scale apps built with React Native.

Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams
:

- Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver new features and improve existing ones.

Optimize Performance
:

- Identify bottlenecks in performance and work on solutions that are scalable and maintainable.

Code Quality and Best Practices
:

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Implement best practices and coding standards across the team. Build reusable components and custom hooks following solid principles for scalability and maintainability.

Troubleshoot and Debug
:

- Resolve issues, debug, and upgrade the application to ensure maximum performance and user experience.

Stay Updated
:

- Keep up with the latest industry trends and technologies in mobile development to ensure we are always ahead of the curve. Should have hands-on experience implementing push notifications, deep linking, and deferred deep linking on both Android and iOS.

Must-Have Skills
:

React Native Expertise
:

- Proven experience in developing mobile applications using React Native with a deep understanding of its core principles.

- Must be working on well established & large scale Apps built with React Native.

- Deep understanding of React Natives new architecture; experience with RN architecture migrations is an explicit interview topic. Candidates with a native Android + React Native background are strongly preferred.

JavaScript Proficiency
:

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax and concepts such as closures, promises, and async/await.

Experience with RESTful APIs and Integration
:

- Expertise in integrating Android applications with RESTful APIs.

SDK Integration Experience with Third Parties and Events Setup
:

- Should have an understanding on how to integrate with Clevertap, AppsFlyer, Branch etc.

- Should have strong experience is setting up events across the app for performance optimization and analytics for tech and marketing teams. Eg banner scroll events, scroll depth monitoring, etc.

- Hands-on experience with push notifications, deep linking, and deferred deep linking on Android and iOS is non-negotiable.

Version Control with Git
:

- Proficiency in using Git for version control in a collaborative environment.

Strong Control over Firebase and Firebase Remote Config
:

- Should have a very strong handle on using Firebase for Analytics, Crash Analytics.

- Should have experience on Firebase Remote Config.

App Store Deployment
:

- Google Play Console
:
Knowledge of how to prepare and upload APKs/AABs to the Google Play Store, including managing app signing, and testing tracks.

- Apple App Store Connect
:
Though more relevant to iOS, understanding the deployment process for cross-platform teams is beneficial.

Up-to-Date with Industry Trends
:

- A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends and updates in mobile development and React Native.

Good to Have Skills
:

CI/CD Integration
:

- Knowledge of integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, etc. The candidate should be aware of this.

UI/UX Design Principles
:

- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and experience in implementing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

Additional Knowledge Areas
:

- SQL (rate on SQL)

- App security and how it is exploited

- Experience building custom native bridges in React Native

Understanding of Testing and Debugging
:

- Write unit and integration tests to ensure robust and reliable code.

- Debug and resolve issues, improving overall app stability and user experience.
