Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Appium Tester with 4-6 years of experience to join our QA team in Chennai.

Must be comfortable with testing for iOS, Android and React Native Apps.

Must be hands-on and an individual contributor.

Key Responsibilities :

Automated Testing with Appium :

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Appium for mobile applications for CashKaro & EarnKaro

- Execute test scripts and analyze results to ensure software quality.

Manual Testing :

- Perform manual testing as needed to validate new features and bug fixes.

- Report and track defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.

Test Strategy and Planning :

- Design and implement test strategies and test plans for mobile applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure thorough testing coverage.

Continuous Improvement :

- Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes.

- Stay updated with the latest testing tools, trends, and methodologies.

Must-Have Skills :

1. Appium Proficiency :

- Strong hands-on experience with Appium with Java for automating mobile application testing.

- Must be using Java with Page Object model.

This is mandatory.

- Must be building the automation scripts using Page Object Model

2. Mobile Testing at Scale (iOS and Android) :

- Extensive experience in testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.

- Very good experience in managing multiple devices and operating systems

- Be able to handle large scale testing in short time periods

3. Scripting Skills and Technology (Java/Python) :

- Must be proficiency in scripting with Java for creating automated test scripts.

- Python or anything else will not do.

- Must be proficient in TestNG

- Must be very strong with XCode for iOS testing

4. Manual Testing :

- Should be good with manual testing as well as automation.

- Our expectation is for Automation tester to run the manual tests so they understand flow and functionality and then build the automation scripts.

Continuous Learning & Upskilling :

- Description : A commitment to ongoing learning and staying updated with the latest in testing technologies.

Good to Have Skills :

1. CI/CD Integration :

- Knowledge of integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, etc.

At the least should be aware of this and how it works, even if not hands-on.
