Job Title : SDE III Java/JEE Full Stack Developer

Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled SDE III (Full Stack Developer) with a strong backend focus in Java (Spring Boot, Vert.x) and Node.js, along with proven experience in cloud-native development (GCP or AWS). The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing and building scalable, high-performance systems that power our OTT platformcovering content ingestion, playback, user engagement, and personalisation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement microservices using Java (Spring Boot) and Vert.x for backend systems managing media workflows, playback, content management, and user data.

- Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, QA, and Analytics teams to define, design, develop, and deliver new features.

- Optimise the system for high performance, scalability, and reliability, especially in high-traffic OTT

scenarios.

- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, taking ownership of the end-to-end development lifecyclefrom design through deployment and maintenance.

Required Skills :

- Minimum 6+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Java, Spring Boot, and Vert.x.

- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming patterns.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS, including tools like Cloud Functions, serverless frameworks, Kafka, and Redis.

- Solid understanding of relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.

- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with media streaming protocols, DRM, and playback services is a significant plus.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving and architectural thinking.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across diverse teams.

- Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth.

- Proficient in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
