This person will collaborate and work closely with the DSS COE product, engineering, and implementation teams to meet roadmap and new commitments. This role will play a key part in optimizing Carriers Salesforce development and deployment processes using Copado, an industry-leading release management platform. This person will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of Salesforce solutions, enhance automation, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our release cycles.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Configure and manage Copado environments, including the setup of pipelines, release processes, and version control integrations to ensure efficient and accurate deployments.

- Work closely with Salesforce developers, administrators, and business analysts to support the development lifecycle, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).

- Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts and processes using Copado to streamline and improve the efficiency of our release management processes.

- Monitor deployment processes and workflows to identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to development and production environments.

- Create and maintain detailed documentation for deployment processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps. Provide regular updates and reports on release metrics and performance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, provide technical support, and contribute to solution design and implementation.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend enhancements to optimize release management workflows.

Key Skills :

- Experience working on global, multi-year initiatives with cross-functional teams.

- Proficiency in configuring and managing Copado environments, including setting up pipelines and release processes.

- Solid understanding of Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components, as well as experience with version control systems like Git.

- Experience in developing and maintaining automated deployment scripts and processes to enhance release management efficiency.

- Strong analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills.

Basic Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in a related field

- 5+ years of professional supporting enterprise-level engineering teams.

- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce administration or development, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Copado or similar release management tools.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Agile methodologies in a working environment demand prioritization, planning, and execution to deliver software solutions.

- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel skills

- Fluent spoken and written English

Preferred :

- Masters degree and/or similar secondary degree.

- Experience working with multicultural, multilingual, and multiple time zone, global environments

- The ability to simplify the complex, quickly define core problem and frame the solution approach

- Experience in industrial/manufacturing software segments

- Salesforce Administrator or Developer certification is preferred. Copado certification is a plus.
