Senior Node.js Developer

Experience: 5 + years of overall experience

Primary Skill (Must-have/Mandatory): Node.js, SQL/NoSQL, CI/CD, Observability, AWS, System Design

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Node.js backend developer with real cloud experience (AWS preferred) who can design and build production-grade systems without much hand-holding. If you like working on platforms that tie together product creation, pricing operations, and cross-system integrations at scale, this is a good fit.

What You Will Do :

- Design and develop the O2P platform, which includes a customer-facing web application and a suite of APIs

- Build and maintain scalable, secure, cost-aware cloud infrastructure on AWS, including Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, and RDS

- Evaluate technologies, pick the right tools for each problem, and implement them with long-term maintainability in mind

- Write well-tested code. Unit testing is not optional here; it is part of how the team works

- Translate business requirements into clear functional and non-functional specs, working directly with stakeholders

- Support what you ship. You will be involved in production support for the systems you build

- Mentor engineers across the APAC, EMEA, and US teams

What We Are Looking For :

- Solid architectural skills with hands-on experience designing distributed, cloud-based systems that are scalable and cost-effective. AWS is strongly preferred

- Strong command of Node.js for building RESTful microservices, with experience selecting and working with both relational and NoSQL databases, depending on what the use case needs

- Familiarity with API security patterns and data encryption

- A genuine DevOps and quality mindset: CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling, and test automation are things you actively build and improve, not just know about in theory

- A growth mindset. The platform will keep evolving, and we want someone who can evolve with it, bring new ideas to the table, and push back when something does not make sense.
