Purpose of this position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Software Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in back-end and front-end system design, data model design, API design, cloud-native design, and secure-first design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement robust system architectures (services, integrations, and UIs) that meet business requirements.

- Own end-to-end architecture from front-end to back-end and data layers.

- Design scalable front-end architectures using modern frameworks (e.g., Angular or React) and micro-frontend solutions.

- Architect cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure services.

- Apply OWASP guidelines and secure coding practices throughout the SDLC.

- Lead refactoring and modernization initiatives for legacy applications.

- Mentor junior developers and articulate design concepts to stakeholders.

- Utilize Generative AI tools for code generation, test generation, and documentation.

Technical Skills:

- Languages/Frameworks: .NET Core, C#, Python, Angular or React.

- Cloud/Infrastructure: Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices.

- Security: OWASP, Cryptography, Identity & Access Management.

- Architecture: System design, API design, Data modeling, Micro-frontends (Module Federation).

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 12 - 15 years of experience in software architecture and development, with substantial exposure to legacy modernization.

- Strong understanding of Agile practices and cloud architecture.

- Excellent documentation and design articulation skills.
