What Software Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health :
- Software Engineering is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting applications, systems and IT products required to achieve the company's business objectives.
- Demonstrates knowledge of software development techniques and fluency in software languages and application programming interfaces.
- Demonstrates general understanding of hardware/software platforms including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies.
- Plans and executes system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts.
- Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of architecture standards and database and operating systems.
- Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages.
- Analyzing production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance.
- Demonstrates knowledge of software development, life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents. Estimates to high level business requirements and provide options analysis.
- Utilizes an ownership mindset when working on supported tools and applications.
Qualifications :
- 12-14 Years of relevant experience in Java Application Development, Architecting
- 5+ years of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Engineer in Computer Science / Engineering in related field. Advance Degree preferred Ideally
What is expected of you and others at this level :
- Solution Design, Architect, Develop, test, and deploy Adobe Experience Management (AEM) Web and Mobile.
- You will work closely with clients, architects, lead developers, system administrators, project managers, business analysts and end users to build a state-of-the-art Digital Platform using Adobe's Digital Marketing Product Suite.
- Design efficient content models, security models, workflows, and templates.
- Develop AEM templates and components leveraging current AEM software releases
- Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse.

Roles & Responsibilities/Accountabilities :
- AEM Specialist to Design, Develop, Architect DevOps Lifecyle and Support
- Responsible for working closely with Solution Architect, Application Development teams, internal shared IT teams, and external consultants to solve operations challenges through software engineering practices
- Build, maintain, Architect and continuously evolve Ecommerce capabilities
- Be the ecommerce lead for the Pharma Commercial Task Force to improve customer experience
- Implement and advocate security best practices across all tools, platforms, and applications
- Participate in production deployment and planning activities and provide feedback as applicable.
- Envision and support of platform setup and configuration including Certificate Management (AEM)
- Assist and work on other key operational objectives with other SRE Team Members and Application Development including cloud, application platforms, deployment pipelines, monitoring, alerting, reporting, and change management
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines & Install, Configure, support, and troubleshoot automation
- Enforce standardization of best practices in security setup and DevOps implementation across teams
- Adopt New technologies/updates, solve problems and improve relentlessly.
- Good to have Complex SQL queries, HCL/IBM WebSphere Products like Portal, Application server, WebSphere Commerce
- Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives, May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues & Experience with Linux-based server environments
- Hands-on experience with API gateways (APIGEE preferred)
- Familiarity with cloud environments - GCP preferred
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in dev, test, and production environments.
- Support continued development and maturity of CI/CD pipeline and processes.
