Job Role/Title :

Engineer - SAP Basis (Platform Operations)

Looking for an individual having strong SAP Basis background in HANA, ABAP, Java and GCP.

The individual shall :

- Work as an SAP Technology SME as part of SAP Platform Operations team, applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects

- Participates in the development policies and procedures to achieve specific goals

- Provide expertise related to SAP and DB performance, HA/DR, and scalability

- Recommends new/improvement in practices, processes, metrics, or models

- Modification of system level configuration to optimize performance

- Works on, contribute, and/or lead medium complex projects

- Provides solutions which are industry best practices

- Independently determines method for completion of new projects

- Receives guidance on overall project objectives

- Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues

Qualifications :

- Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience, preferred.

- More than 8 years of overall SAP experience and 5+ years relevant experience

- Experience administering and supporting mid to large scale SAP applications

- Experience with SAP installations, upgrades and migrations

- Strong understanding of the SAP systems, in memory database technology (HANA) as well as hardware.

- Experience with HA/DR technologies and Linux

- Experience working with infrastructure teams and implementing configuration best practices

- Experience in scripting knowledge

- Experience in a regulated environment (SOX, FDA, etc.) subject to compliance controls

- Excellent interpersonal, written and team collaboration skill

- Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload and manage customer commitments.

- Good presentation skills
