CarDekho - Quality Assurance Lead - Automation/Manual Testing

QA Lead :

As our QA Lead, you'll be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our software quality through strategic test planning, automation framework development, and hands-on manual testing. You'll mentor the QA team, foster best practices, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage end-to-end testing (automation and manual) across multiple projects.

- Design, implement, and continuously improve automated testing frameworks.

- Conduct manual testing to validate UI/UX, functionality, and performance.

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts.

- Identify, track, and manage bugs and defects effectively using issue-tracking tools.

- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of QA processes into development cycles.

- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to QA team members.

- Analyze and report test outcomes, metrics, and insights to stakeholders.

- Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 7+ years of experience in QA, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior role.

- Strong expertise in manual testing techniques, methodologies, and tools.

- Proven experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, Appium).

- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines).

- Excellent knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Outstanding communication and team leadership skills.

- Certifications like ISTQB or similar.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Familiarity with performance and security testing.
