Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in traditional and modern ABAP development, with a specific focus on SAP S/4HANA technologies.

You will be responsible for the design, development, and support of custom solutions, ensuring high performance and adherence to coding best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and Development : Lead the design and development of complex SAP custom solutions across various modules using ABAP programming.

- RICEF Objects : Independently develop, maintain, and enhance RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms).

- Data Modeling : Utilize the ABAP Data Dictionary (DDIC) to create and manage foundational data objects such as tables, structures, views, and domains.

- SAP HANA Optimization : Develop and optimize code for the SAP HANA platform, specifically creating and consuming CDS Views (Core Data Services) and leveraging ABAP on HANA best practices for performance tuning.

- Integration : Develop and maintain data integration points using OData Services for external consumption, as well as traditional interfaces (e.g., IDocs, ABAP Proxies).

- Modern ABAP : Employ modern ABAP syntax (ABAP 7.4 and above) and utilize Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP) principles for robust and scalable solutions.

- Collaboration : Work closely with Functional Consultants to gain a strong understanding of functional processes and table-level mappings to ensure accurate and effective technical designs.

- Quality Assurance : Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and unit testing to ensure the quality and stability of all developed solutions.

- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed technical design specifications and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

- DDIC Expertise : Strong, in-depth experience in working with and managing ABAP Data Dictionary Objects.

- RICEF Proficiency : Proven proficiency in developing all RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).

- ABAP on HANA : Experience with ABAP on HANA, specifically in creating, modeling, and optimizing CDS Views (Basic, Composite, Consumption).

- OData Services : Practical working knowledge of creating and supporting OData Services (via SEGW or CDS Annotations) for Fiori/UI5 applications or external consumption.

- Modern Syntax : Familiarity and development experience with ABAP 7.4 and above syntax features (e.g., inline declarations, new OPEN SQL).

- Object-Oriented ABAP : Solid experience in developing applications using Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP) principles and classes.

- Functional Understanding : Strong ability to translate business requirements by possessing a good understanding of functional processes and table-level mappings across core SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO).

Good to Have Skills :

- SAP Workflow : Experience with SAP Workflow development or support (classic or Fiori-based workflows).

- Fiori/UI5 : Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 development and integration with OData services.
