Role Overview :

As a Windchill Solution Architect at Capgemini, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive Windchill solutions that meet our clients' complex business requirements. You will collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and technical teams to understand their needs, define solution architectures, and oversee the successful delivery of Windchill implementations, upgrades, and migrations.

This role demands a deep understanding of Windchill functionalities, system integration principles, and data migration strategies, ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise systems and driving significant improvements in product lifecycle management for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and document comprehensive Windchill solution architectures that align with client business requirements and industry best practices, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.

- Lead the design and implementation of Windchill customizations and extensions, working closely with development teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet specific client needs.

- Oversee data migration activities from legacy systems to Windchill, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and completeness throughout the migration process.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solution designs.

- Drive system integration efforts between Windchill and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, MES, CRM), ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.

- Conduct performance analysis and tuning of Windchill environments, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to optimize system performance and responsiveness.

- Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution presentations, demonstrations, and proposal development, showcasing Capgemini's Windchill capabilities to potential clients.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex Windchill solutions, including data modeling, workflow design, and customization.

- Proven expertise in Windchill system integration with other enterprise systems, such as ERP, MES, and CRM.

- Strong understanding of data migration principles and methodologies, with experience in migrating data from legacy systems to Windchill.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ability to lead and mentor technical teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

- Deep understanding of business processes related to product lifecycle management (PLM), including engineering change management, configuration management, and document management.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
