Job Title : GKE Engineer (Development & Troubleshooting)


Location : PAN India


Experience : 6 - 12 Years


Job Summary :


We are seeking a skilled Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Engineer with strong experience in container orchestration, application development, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes-based solutions on GCP, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security for cloud-native applications, Hands on experience on GKE

Key Responsibilities :

- Design & Deploy : Architect and implement Kubernetes clusters on GKE, including networking, security, and resource management.


- Application Development : Build and deploy microservices-based applications using containers (Docker) and Kubernetes manifests/Helm charts.

- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve issues related to pods, services, ingress, networking, and cluster performance.

- CI/CD Integration : Implement and maintain pipelines for containerized applications using tools like Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

- Monitoring & Logging : Configure observability tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Stack driver) for proactive monitoring and alerting.

- Security & Compliance : Apply best practices for RBAC, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.

- Performance Optimization : Tune cluster resources, autoscaling, and cost optimization strategies.

- Collaboration : Work closely with development teams to containerize applications and ensure smooth deployments.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Hands-on GKE Expertise : Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts (pods, deployments, services, ingress, ConfigMaps, secrets).


- Programming Skills : Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java for developing microservices and automation scripts.

- Troubleshooting : Strong debugging skills for containerized workloads and cluster-level issues.

- Cloud Knowledge : Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like IAM, VPC, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.

- CI/CD Tools : Familiarity with Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.


- Observability : Experience with Logging and Monitoring tools


- Networking : Understanding of Kubernetes networking, DNS, load balancing, and ingress controllers.
