Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Murex Test Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end testing of Murex 3.1 applications, with a strong focus on automation, reconciliation, and functional validation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Murex MX Test/ONYX, a solid understanding of the Capital Markets domain, and the ability to work collaboratively with both business and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Prepare and execute automation test suites for all Murex releases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

- Perform reconciliations using Murex MX Test to validate data integrity and accuracy.

- Collaborate closely with business teams for test case reviews and with IT teams for deployments and fixes.

- Manage the defect lifecycle, including articulating defects in detail, assigning them to technical teams, and tracking resolutions.

- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for BFSI domain applications, with a proper understanding of the Trade Lifecycle.

- Utilize UNIX and SQL for data validation, test script execution, and troubleshooting.

- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Good experience and understanding of testing Murex 3.1.

- Hands-on automation experience with ONYX (developing and executing automation test scripts).

- Strong hands-on experience with UNIX and SQL.

- Working experience in the Capital Markets domain across various modules and instruments, especially Fixed Income.

- Must have experience performing reconciliations using MX Test.

- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Github, and Bitbucket.

- Good communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work with business and IT teams and manage defects effectively.
