Job Overview :

Key Responsibilities :

- Create, execute, and manage automated test cases for RESTful APIs within the core banking domain.

- Integrate automated API tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) to enable continuous testing and faster feedback loops.

- Collaborate closely with development teams, business analysts, and other QA engineers to understand API functionalities and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Perform thorough API functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

- Identify, document, and track defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

- Analyze test results, troubleshoot complex API issues, and perform root cause analysis.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

- Ensure test data management strategies are in place for effective API testing.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API test automation.

- Proficiency in Java programming language for developing automation scripts.

- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and integrating automated tests.

- Solid understanding of API concepts (REST, HTTP methods, JSON, XML).

- Proven experience working within the Core Banking domain, understanding relevant business processes and data flows.

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
