Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement scalable automation frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
- Perform cross-browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and business teams to understand requirements.
- Identify, track, and report defects using Jira or similar tools.
- Maintain test data and automation environments.
- Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.
- Guide junior testers and conduct code reviews.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Skills :
- 5+ years of QA Automation experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Experience in API testing using Postman / REST Assured / Playwright API.
- Knowledge of test frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or TestNG.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodology.
- Experience in Git version control.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with Docker / Kubernetes.
- Performance testing knowledge.
- Cloud platform exposure (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- BDD tools like Cucumber.
Educational Qualification :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or equivalent.
Soft Skills :
- Strong communication skills.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Leadership and mentoring ability.
